The Jackson Skeptical Society (or the JSS as I love to call it) was started on Jan. 1st, 2009.

We aim to provide the city of Jackson and the area at large with a resource for critical thinking to allay the superstition of our times.

Omigosh! I am so happy that I discovered you. Currently, I live in St. Louis, but having grown up in Mississippi, I am considering moving back since my retirement. However, I just cannot bring myself to move into a hotbed of religious zealots. So good to know there are kindred spirits!

Well, at the moment, you just sign up for messages and meeting notices. We’ll be hammering out something to the effect of membership for joining at a later date.
