During our March meeting, asked members of the JSS to provide me with email forwards that might need a bit of skepticism.
So far, only one has arrived, and, I must admit, I sent that one to myself. So prepare to see something you’ve seen before be debunked. I hope none of it was too important to you. Or, rather, I hope it was, and this changes your life forever. (Highly doubtful).
This is the offender, an email/message board post you’ve likely seen or been exposed to in the past:
“Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn’t mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteers be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.”
Of course, nothing is ever as simple as it seems in that email your mother sends you.
