A little while back I got into a bit of a “discussion” herehttp://humanism.meetup.com/164/boards/thread/6409742/ with a guy named Justin who runs a wretched little website (okay, it’s classier than mine) called “http://christianincollege.com/. He apparently also has a ministry.
In a moment of passion, I believe I promised the poor boy a biblical contradiction a day.
Since I haven’t done it yet, and I try to keep my promises, here goes.

PSA 145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
JER 13:14 And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.

1KI 4:26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
2CH 9:25 And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
A special thanks to infidels.org for providing me with all that quality Biblical research.

As far as the stalls, a writer dropping a 0 is not a contradiction in the original text. Recent scholarship has helped us on this issue. See http://www.apologeticspress.org/articles/544
Even if you believed that the Christian claim of Biblical infallibility meant our particular translation was perfect, there are still ways of defending that position (which I don’t hold to). See http://en.allexperts.com/q/Bible-Studies-1654/horse-stalls.htm
